Private Residence, Surrey, Bespoke FIRE RATED Luxury Double Doors
Project scope : detailed design + manufacture + installation
A bespoke set of luxury metal framed internal double doors and associated screens, installed in a private residence in Surrey. The doors were set on parliament hinges which allowed the doors to fully open back on themselves by 180 degrees. The hinges were aligned to electrically operated floor springs which were programmed to hold the doors open except in the event of a fire alarm activation where the floor springs would then release and the doors close automatically.
FIRE RATED
These doors were fire rated and included corresponding features including fire rated glass, fire rated door ironmongery, fire rated floor springs, intumescent seals and drop down seals.
