Restaurant Courtyard Roof Tee Beams
Project scope : detailed design + manufacture + installation
This project involved the engineered detailing and design, manufacture and installation of 5 No. super slim Tee section roof beams x 10m long, to support a glazed roof over a restaurant courtyard area at Hadspen House in Somerset.
The super slim roof beams were manufactured in high grade stainless steel and finished in a 240 grit dull brushed polished finish. In order to avoid distortion and maintain straightness, the detailed design kept welding to a minimum and instead employed a secret fix bolted system.
