Private Residence : Bespoke Spiral Staircase
Project scope : detailed design + manufacture + installation
This stunning spiral staircase in a private London residence adopted an unusual and impressive design whereby each stair tread independently cantilevers from the adjacent walls.
The heavy duty stair treads were detailed & designed in 30mm thick steel plate and clad top and bottom in double fumed timber oak tread panels with an intermediate embedded variable LED light strip in diffuser light track. The timber handrail was leather bound with cricket ball stitching design.
